YOUNGSTERS will be invited to don their science lab coats and create crazy, colourful concoctions at Broad Street Mall this weekend (Saturday, June 8).

Children will be able to join Professor Whizzpop and his kooky assistant Dr Bizarre in the science lab for a day of free, mind boggling science fun for all the family

The event will take place on Saturday, June 8, from 11am – 4pm.

Visitors' imaginations will be captured in a range of interactive science experiments.

They will then get hands-on to make their very own slime to take home.

The silly science spectacular includes fully interactive classes and audience participation, and makes for the ideal free pass-time for families to fill the weekend.

The event is one in a long line up of planned for Reading’s original mall this year.

Customers can stay up to date with the latest events at the centre at www.broadstreetmall.com.

Nicola Williamson, centre manager at Broad St. Mall, said: "We’re looking forward to welcoming Reading's families to our latest free event.

"It's one that is sure to capture their little imaginations and inspire a love of science fun."
