Citizens Advice Bracknell and District wants people to be part of the next 80 years of its history by volunteering with them.

The service started almost 80 years ago on the eve of the Second World War and is supported by 22,000 volunteers across England and Wales

As part of Volunteers’ Week, which runs from June 1-7, Citizens Advice Bracknell & District wants to thank current volunteers for their contribution and welcome new recruits.

The 60 volunteers at the local branch contribute 363 hours each week and last year helped 2,094 people with 17,592 problems, such as debt, housing, benefit and employment issues.

Volunteers at Citizens Advice help by giving clients information and advice, raising funds and generally keeping the service running smoothly.

Email: recruitment@bracknellcab.org.uk or call: 01344 428107 if you are interested in volunteering.
