A third man has been charged following the fight in the Kentucky Fried Chicken car park at Farnham Road, Slough that left a man fighting for his life last week.

Rehman Anwar, 26, of Crayle Street, Slough, was charged with wounding with intent and violent disorder. He was arrested on Saturday and remanded in custody. He will appear at Reading Crown Court on June 17.

Police were called to the KFC at 2.45am on Tuesday, May 14 to reports of a fight. A 21-year-old man was taken to hospital with life threatening head injuries where he remains in a serious condition.

Haidar Anwar, 21, of Crayle Street, Slough, was charged with wounding and violent disorder last Thursday, May 16. He has also been remanded in custody.

Yasir Mohammed, 22, of Monksfield Way, Slough, was charged with wounding and violent disorder on Wednesday, May 15 - the day after the attack. He appeared at Slough Magistrates’ Court the following day and was remanded in custody.

A 23-year-old man from Slough arrested on suspicion of violent disorder has been released on police bail - while a 26-year-old woman from Slough and two men aged 18 and 24 from Slough who were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder last week have also been released on police bail.

A 20-year-old man from Slough who had been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder has been released with no further action.
