A section of the A355 in Beaconsfield has been shut to allow police to carry out an “investigation and reconstruction”.
As reported in the Bucks Free Press on Monday, the road closure comes weeks after a 19-year-old from High Wycombe was tragically killed on the road on Bank Holiday Monday.

Thames Valley Police have not confirmed as to whether the closure and subsequent investigation is in connection with Zaide Sandy’s death. The closure is however at the scene of Zaide Sandy’s memorial.
Police officers at the scene are wearing knee pads and gloves, according to our reporter.

In order to avoid delays, Transport for Bucks have advised people to follow the diversion via Candlemas Lane, Candlemas Mead and Ronald Road.
Although the road is set to be reopened before tonight’s rush hour, it is expected to be in operation at school pick-up time. It is estimated that it will reopen at 4pm.
