TWO clubs marked 31 years of friendship with a twinning celebration.
Loddon Vale Rotary Club hosted a visit from Hamburg Haake RC, packed with a range of activities.
The three-day visit finished on May 12 with a celebratory garden party.
The twinning between the two clubs started in 1986 with a speculative visit from several senior Hamburg Haake members.
Since then, joint activities have grown in ambition, scale and fellowship, including a sponsored cycle ride from Loddon Vale to Hamburg.
On the second day, there was a highly entertaining team-building event, which saw members build towers out of straws and tape.
Twinning is one of many community initiatives organised by local rotary clubs, which exist to provide a humanitarian service and spread goodwill in their communities.
