These cases were heard at Reading and Slough Magistrates’ Court

April 23:

Tyrone Applewhaite, 59, of Reading Road, Woodley, denied assault by beating and was found guilty. A community order was made and he must take part in a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement for a maximum of 25 days. He was ordered to pay costs of £600 and a surcharge of £85.

Glenroy Kelvin Bentley, 51, of Leaves Green, Bracknell, admitted to assault occasioning actual bodily harm, aggravated vehicle taking and using a motor vehicle on a road/public place without third-party insurance. He was committed to prison fora a total of 26 weeks and ordered to pay costs of £620. A restraining order was made by the court and he was ordered to pay a surcharge of £115.

Daniel Kacsur, 20, of Westcott Road, Wokingham, admitted to speeding and was fined £216. He had his driving licence endorsed with four penalty points and he was ordered to pay costs of £85 and a surcharge of £30.

April 24:

Lisa Burton, 45, of Meadow Road, Earley, admitted to drink driving and was committed to prison for three months, suspended for 18 months. She must take part in an Alcohol Treatment Requirement for six months and a Rehabilitation Activity. Requirement for a maximum of 20 days. She was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 24 months and she was ordered to pay costs of £85 and a surcharge of £85.

April 25:

Tracy Brown, 45, of Burnmoor Chase, Bracknell, admitted to dishonestly failing to promptly notify the local authority of a change of circumstances which would affect entitlement to housing benefits. She also admitted to making a false statement or representation to the Department for Work and Pensions. She was committed to prison for a total of 26 weeks and was ordered to pay costs of £85 and a surcharge of £115.

Georgina Heyes, 22, of Harmsworth Road, Tadley, admitted to burglary dwelling and theft and possession of a controlled drug of Class B, namely Cannabis/Cannabis Resin, in Wokingham. A community order was made and she must take part in a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement for a maximum of 15 days and an Unpaid Work Requirement of 120 hours in the next 12 months. She was ordered to pay compensation of £100, costs of £85 and a surcharge of £85. An order was made by the court for the destruction of the drugs.

April 26:

Lee George Barritt, 44, of no fixed abode, admitted to attempted theft from a shop, namely attempting to steal two bottles of alcohol to the value of £60 belonging to BP in Bracknell. He received a conditional discharge for 12 months and was ordered to pay costs of £85 and a surcharge of £20.

Kevin Keevil, 35, of no fixed abode, admitted to attempted theft from a shop, namely attempting to steal two bottles of alcohol to the value of £60 belonging to BP in Bracknell. He received a conditional discharge for 12 months and was ordered to pay costs of £85 and a surcharge of £20.

Abigail Louise Florey, 48, of Merryhill Road, Bracknell, admitted to common assault and assault by beating. She received a community order and she must to take part in a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement for a maximum of 10 days. She was also ordered to pay compensation of £50, costs of £135 and a surcharge of £85.

Sharyar Mohammed Tariq, 35, of Chiltern Crescent, Earley, admitted to assault by beating and received a community order. He must to take part in a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement for a maximum of 40 days and an Unpaid Work Requirement of 160 hours in the next 12 months. He was ordered to pay compensation of £286, costs of £85 and a surcharge of £85.
