POLICE have released an image of a man who may have vital information about a theft and fraud in Reading.
At about 3pm on March 28, the victim, a 64-year-old woman, misplaced her debit card.
The card was then used fraudulently in a number of shops in Reading, including McColls in Wensley Road.
Some online purchases were also attempted.
Investigating officer PC Denim Wade, based at Reading police station, said: “I would like to speak to the man in this image as I believe he could have vital information about our investigation.
“If you know this man, or have any information as to his whereabouts, please call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 101, quoting reference 43190094771.”
Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be called anonymously on 0800 555 111.
