A COUPLE looking to start a family, managed to secure a larger home with the help of a housebuilder in Wokingham.

Michael Farbrother and girlfriend Becky Woolford, recently moved into a three-bedroom house in the brand new development, Mulberry View in Wokingham.

The couple originally bought a house at Mulberry Grove before seeing the larger houses being built nearby.

Becky said: "We knew we liked the new, bigger homes already and the extra space would help us to build our family."

The pair were then able to afford their new home with the help of Crest Nicholson, paying for their stamp duty fees in full.

The couple said: "The move was a simple and stress-free transition, we would have struggled to afford our new home and move in ahead of the arrival of baby Albie, without Crest Nicholson covering stamp duty."

Mulberry View housing developments currently offer three-bedroom homes at a price of £499,950 and four bedroom homes at £624,950 on a quiet cul-de-sac.

Christine Tiernan, sales and marketing director, said: "Located in the heart of Wokingham, which was recently voted one of the best places to live in the UK, Mulberry View is set in an ideal location.

"Many homes benefit from open plan kitchen and dining areas, providing plenty of space when entertaining.

"The development also offers apartments with each boasting a private balcony or terrace, as well as allocated parking – all of which are key benefits for homebuyers.

The homes are situated near a local park, and schools, such as Keep Hatch Primary, which is rated Good by Ofsted.

Apartments are also available from £259,950.

The housebuilders state they offer a series of incentives on offer for buyers, including Help to Buy, Part exchange and Stamp Duty schemes.

They also added that they offered to pay the family stamp duty and this is available across selected plots at the moment.
