There is nothing worse than putting in months of training, only for something to go wrong on race day.

In order to make sure things run as smoothly as possible, it is probably a good idea to have the crucial timings for the day.

Before you even arrive, it is recommended that your set off with plenty of time to spare to avoid running late.

There are free shuttle buses for everyone between Reading Station and the Madejski Stadium from 7am to 2.30pm.

There is also a taxi service from the station to the stadium, with a dedicated fast lane for taxis next to the bus pick up. There is a fixed price of £10 for this service.

If you have pre-booked parking in one of the official car parks, all directions will be included

with your permit.

Your permit will have been sent to you in your race pack and it must be clearly displayed in your vehicle.

Some car parks may have restrictions on leaving times and will not open before a stated time.

There is no parking at the stadium or on the surrounding roads. If you have not pre-booked

parking space, use town centre parking and travel on the free shuttle bus service.

Due to road closures, do not use junction 11 for access.

There is a 20-30 minute walk from the Race Village to the start line.
