CHILDREN were kept entertained on Saturday thanks to a host of fun activities at South Reading Leisure Centre.

A free information and fun day was organised with the help of local and national organisations.

Stall holders from charities, children's centres and Reading Borough Council provided support to visiting parents and carers.

Reading Families’ Forum was created by parents and carers who have children and young adults with disabilities and continues as an independent and voluntary group.

While the younger visitors enjoyed playing with animals, face painting and circus skills, the adults made the most of the expert advice that was available.
