SCHOOLCHILDREN ventured out to Rushall Farm and to learn more about animals.
Year 2 pupils at Oaklands Infant School explored the farm and took a ride on the tractor.
Children were divided into groups and had the chance to see piglets and baby lambs.
Sarah Goodenough, joint school secretary, said: "The funny thing was when we went to see the piglets we saw one of them escaping and running away.
"Some of us went to see the pigs and cows and some of us went to a field to find out how the fields are used in the different seasons."
It proved to be a very entertaining and educational visit for the children and the school was grateful to the farm for hosting.
