WORLD Book Day is coming up on March 7, and to the mark the occasion Waterstones Reading will be hosting a series of events.
Children from local schools will be visiting the store throughout the week commencing March 4 to exchange their tokens for a WBD book and to listen to storytime or take part in a quiz.
On the day, there will also be a storytime session at 4.30pm, where everyone is invited to dress up as their favourite book character.
On Saturday, March 9, children's author Alex Milway will be at the store to read from his new book Hotel Flamingo.
Each storytime will finish with a book signing.
There is no charge to attend this event, and anyone unable to attend who would like reserved signed copies should call 018 9581270.
