LEGO fanatics were in paradise at the weekend thanks to an exhibition at Rivermead Leisure Centre.

The first-ever Reading Brick Show saw hundreds of guests interact with the popular construction toys.

Bringing together talented model makers, the two-day show encouraged people of all ages to be creative and see their favourite pop-culture references in brick form.

Visitors got the chance to build their own creations at the brick pit and there was also a hugely-popular LEGO Robot Wars arena.

Erica Grieve, the show's organiser, partnered with the charity Fairy Bricks and it is hoped the proceeds from ticket sales will enable the team to donate LEGO sets to children at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
