A man from Reading has been jailed for a year for drug offences.

Sanchez Caesar, 28, of Ambrook Road, pleaded guilty at Reading Crown Court on Monday, February 18, to two counts of possession of cannabis with intent to supply and offering to supply cannabis.

It is in connection with offences between February 1 last year and January this year.

On January 15, a warrant was conducted in Ambrook Road, where a quantity of cash and drugs were seized and recovered.

Following his arrest, Caesar was charged on the same day.

Investigating officer PC Katie Poole, based at Reading police station, said: "The Stronghold team work to disrupt the organised supply of drugs, which is a priority for Thames Valley Police.

“The most vulnerable members of our communities are affected by drug offences, the Stronghold team work tirelessly to make sure those who seek to profit from drugs supply will be put before the courts.
