SPORTING excellence from across the county has been celebrated at an annual ceremony.
The Get Berkshire Active Awards recognised the efforts of community stalwarts and fitness fanatics at The Hilton Hotel on February 15.
Paralympic swimmer and canoeist Jeanette Chippington MBE joined the event as the guest of honour.
As well as recognising success stories from the last year, guests took part in a raffle on the night, which raised more than £1,000 for CLIC Sargent and the Stroke Association.
Brett Nicholls, CEO of Get Berkshire Active, said: "It is such a joyous and inspirational evening and our opportunity to thank all those who make sport and physical activity possible in Berkshire."
