NURSERY children embraced the Chinese New Year by taking part in a range of activities to learn about the tradition.
Forest Park Bracknell Day Nursery and Preschool wrote their names in Chinese and made a dragon out of paper to celebrate the new year.
The children took part in a number of themed activities, looking into their zodiac signs, made red paper lanterns and discussed the significance of the year of the pig.
Laura Gardner, deputy nursery manager, said: "They made Hong Bao, which are red envelopes with sweets and money that are given to children for Chinese New Year for good luck.
"The whole nursery had a great time celebrating and to top it off, our chef made a wonderful chicken chow mein lunch."
Chinese New Year was on February 5 and celebrated the Pig, which is the twelfth zodiac in the calendar.
Nursery children at Forest Park had a lot of fun learning about the Chinese culture and embracing diversity.
Laura added: "It is important for children to learn about different cultures, to enhance and expand their knowledge of the world in general."
