ENVIRONMENTALLY-savvy children and their families have come together to give a popular area a spring clean.
Earley Junior Environmental Group encourages young people to develop their understanding of nature.
The group of eight children and their adults went down to Maiden Erlegh Nature Reserve to play their part.
The task was part of the John Muir Family Award challenge and will make the route between the butterfly garden and the lake safer for all walkers.
During the gathering, the children and adults worked hard to make the footpath tidier and transported plenty of wheelbarrows packed with wood chippings.
The sessions are led by Charlotte Allchin. You can visit environmental group's Facebook page to find out more.
