POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man has suffered from minor cut injuries after being attacked by three offenders
Between 6am and 9am on Thursday, February 14 the 58-year-old man was walking through Palmer Park on Wokingham Road, Reading when the incident happened.
During the attack the man suffered minor cut injuries and was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital for treatment, he has since been discharged.
Jonathan Morley, investigating officer of Force CID at Reading station, said: “We are appealing for witnesses to this incident, which was a traumatic experience for the victim.
“Anyone with any information is urged to contact police to help us with our investigation."
The first offender is described as a black man, the second was a mixed-race man.
The victim does not recall a physical description of the third offender.
Police are encouraging anyone with information to contact them on 101.
