An arrest has been made following criminal damage to a car in Theale.

A 19-year-old from Reading was arrested in Tuesday, February 13, on suspicion of causing criminal damage and later released under investigation.

The incident, which took place in Theale on January16, resulted in a red Vauxhall Corsa being damaged.

Investigating officer, sergeant Daniel Lond from the Pangbourne Neighbourhood team, said: "Thames Valley Police take reports of criminal damage very seriously and will thoroughly investigate to bring offenders to justice.

"Victims of criminal damage can report details on the Thames Valley Police website.

"You should always dial 999 if a crime is in progress, or there is an imminent threat to life or property.

"It is important to report information using the correct channels, and avoid speculation on social media, as this could affect the outcome if the case progresses to court."
