POLICE have charged two men with drug offences, after searching a vehicle.
Shahzaad Ahmed, 37 of Ripley Road and Mohammed Avas Akram, 27 of Cranbury Road were charged with being in possession of cocaine and the intent to supply cannabis on Saturday, February 9.
The charge was in connection with a vehicle in Derby Street, which was stopped and searched at around 6pm on Friday, February 8.
They appeared at Reading Magistrates Court and have been remanded in custody until they appear at Reading Crown Court.
