THIEVES stole a BMW car with ease after they entered a property which was left unlocked on February 7.

At around 8.55pm, offenders quickly entered the front of the house on Amber Close, Earley.

The offenders then took the car key from the hallway for a few seconds before fleeing the scene.

At the time of the theft, a dark coloured estate car was seen parked on the opposite side of the road to the house at the same time the BMW was stolen.

The BMW vehicle was found on Rowan Drive in Woodley the following morning, with a completely different number plate.

The original number plates to the car were found in Hawker Way.
