A TEENAGER is on the road to success after becoming the youngest recruit to pass all his driving tests at Reading Buses.
Adam Stevens made the history books when he sat behind the wheel as a driver for the first time on Monday.
He said: “As a first timer, I was quite pleased with the results. I like getting on with people and as a bus driver you obviously need to keep customers happy.
The 18-year-old started at out the company's academy in December and has passed all five tests.
Mick Hughes, academy manager, added: “Adam has done really well in his training.
"Age isn’t a factor if you know what you are doing. We know that he will be a great asset to the team.”
