A SERIES of timetable changes will take effect later this month.

Reading Buses' routes are being altered in a bid to provide a reliable service across the board.

The changes will take place from February 25, giving customers 'improved journeys'.

Robert Williams, chief executive officer, said: “Reliability is a fundamental part of what we do and these changes are designed to make further improvements to the service we deliver for our customers.”

The routes in question are lime 2/2a, emerald 5 and 6, sky blue 15 and 16, purple 17, yellow 26 and Silverstars 16S and 28S.

Minor changes to departure times throughout the day are being implemented on purple 17 to reflect traffic conditions.

Nighttime journeys on emerald 5 will now start from St Mary’s Butts, instead of Station Road, and nighttime journeys on yellow 26 will serve St Mary’s Butts instead of Russell Street, following customer requests.
