A LOVING Springer Spaniel with a heart-shaped marking on her side is hoping she can find a new best friend in time for Valentine's Day.
Ten-year-old Sophie is a rescue dog, currently being cared for by the team at Dogs Trust Newbury.
She comes as a double act with her furry friend Lola, a seven-year-old Border Collie, and both pups are looking for an owner with a lot of love to give.
“Sophie really does have a lot of love to give so when we spotted her heart shaped marking, it seemed very fitting. We’re hoping there’s enough love to go around and a new owner can adopt both her and her friend Lola.
“Taking on two dogs can be hard work, but with these two it’s definitely a case of double the love as they’ll keep you on your toes and smiling all day."
