CHILDREN will be able to borrow a wide range of items following the launch of a toy library.
The service, previously housed in Southcote, has moved to Reading Central Library and has a fun new castle theme.
The Mayor of Reading will open the new base for the toy library today (January 31) with the help of councillor Sarah Hacker, the lead member for Culture.
Cllr Hacker said: “Buying new toys can be difficult and expensive for parents.
"The toy library offers an ideal solution and is a fantastic resource to keep children of all ages active with new toys on a regular basis, or to hire large toys for a children’s party, for a minimal cost.
“The new central location will also make it easier for families all over Reading to access the toy library.”
