SHOPPERS were treated to a musical extravaganza on Saturday thanks to an appearance from The Jive Aces.

The Britain's Got Talent semi-finalists, regarded as one of the top jive and swing bands in the country, performed on Broad Street.

With preparations for their UK tour in full 'swing' The Jive Aces were out spreading an important message.

They have supported the 'Truth about Drugs' campaign for 20 years by raising awareness for addiction and solutions.

The band, comprised of Ian Clarkson, Ken Smith, John Fordham, Alex Douglas, Vince Hurley and Peter Howell; have been together for 21 years

They first met as teenagers in East London.
