A WEATHER warning about ice has been put in place in Reading - as snow starts falling in Reading and West Berkshire.

Snow showers arrived in Reading today at around 2.40pm, expected to continue till tomorrow.

It comes as the Met Office put another ice warning in place.

Yesterday they warned that ice could cause problems on the roads this morning. Another ice warning has now been put in place from 4pm today until 11am tomorrow.

The Met Office says ice will form on some surfaces later Tuesday and overnight into Wednesday, with further wintry showers at times.

Walkers could slip and injure themselves on icy surfaces and there could be ice on some roads, pavements and cycle lanes.
