VILLAGERS are able to use the Post Office in Twyford once again after a temporary period of closure.
The site on London Road will be led by Amajeet Malhotra, who became the postmaster at Maiden Place Post Office last year.
Simon Grant, area network change manager, said: “We are delighted to have been able to restore a Post Office service to Twyford.
"The Post Office has already opened as the Postmaster wanted to be able to re-open the branch as quickly as possible.
"He is now busy stocking the shelves of the convenience store.”
Opening hours will be 9am to 5.30pm on weekdays and 9am to 12.30pm on Saturday.
Customers can access a wide range of banking services, including cash withdrawals and balance enquiries for customers of all the main UK banks.
