A CHARITY is hoping the community will spread the love this Valentine's Day by helping to provide vital care to those in need.

Sue Ryder Duchess of Kent Hospice is looking for willing individuals and businesses to donate.

For £5, you can write a message on a heart made of card, or you can pull together and donate £140.

For this, you will receive a limited edition rose gold metal hanging heart engraved with the words ‘Sue Ryder Love Your Hospice’.

Laura Kell, head of Hospice Fundraising at Sue Ryder, said: “Our care is free, but it costs us £13,000 per day to run our services in West Berkshire.

"This February, we are asking people to support and share the love for their local hospice.

"We hope this campaign will not only raise vital money, but also help to spread the word about Sue Ryder so more people know about what we do and how we can help.”

The charity’s staff and volunteers provide people with the compassion and expert care they need, to help them live the best life they can.
