A LAPTOP and other valuable items were stolen from a property in East Reading.
The offender gained entry to the home on The Mount due to an insecure door.
The incident happened overnight from January 10 to 11 and saw a rucksack, laptop, phone, bankcards and a purse stolen.
Anyone with information is urged to call the non-emergency number 101, quoting the reference number '43190010640'.
Police are also investigating a burglary, which happened on Grange Avenue some time between December 13 and January 11.
It is believed that someone attempted to gain entry by forcing the front door open.
They were not successful and nothing was taken as a result.
