POLICE were kept busy by animals this weekend, from dogs on the motorway to a stray bird.
A rolling roadblock was in place on the M4 after officers were alerted to dogs on the westbound carriageway.
The animals were seen between junctions 13 (Chieveley) and 14 (Hungerford).
Highways England confirmed the dogs had been found and removed from the motorway.
Meanwhile, in Sonning Common, officers came close to replicating scenes from Hot Fuzz.
Our own take on #HotFuzz! This fella on the loose causing a few road issues in Sonning Common, when we approached him he gave it the legs! "Offender" outstanding, last seen across the fields! @tvpsouthandvale #billybigsteps #TRbshift #PS7138 pic.twitter.com/jgxzxFMPpX

Rather than a irate swan, the Roads Policing were busy trying to catch a rhea on Sunday.
They said he was 'causing a few road issues' and found keeping up with the bird somewhat difficult.
Officers added: "When we approached him he gave it the legs."
