December was an exciting month for the Inner Wheel Club of Reading Maiden Erlegh.
Along with the their partners and friends in the Rotary Club, members enjoyed dressing as elves to meet families and raising money for local charities at garden centres.
The club also celebrated the festive season with a Christmas party with the Rotarians at Hennerton Golf Club. President of the club, Valerie Coughlan, hosted an evening of singing and socialising for the group's December meeting.
They sang carols and served Christmas treats to the residents of Lakeside Care Home, whom they visit on a regular basis.
Hugh Gibbons will be speaking about the USAF bomber B17, which crashed at Winkfield, at the club's first meeting of the year on Thursday January 17 at Sonning Golf Club.
