A MOTORIST has been given a ticket after being caught hogging the middle lane on the M4 in Reading.
The Road Policing Unit of Thames Valley Police released footage of a BMW driver travelling on the carriageway on New Year's Eve.
People caught in the middle lane for longer than necessary can be fined up to ยฃ100, following changes to the law in 2013.

The officers followed the driver for a mile before pulling them over between junctions 12 and 13 shortly after 9am.
They were issued with a ticket for carless driving.
