A REHOMING centre is rejoicing after experiencing a record-breaking year.
Dogs Trust Newbury found loving homes for more dogs than ever in 2018, saying goodbye to 260 pups.
The centre reopened in January following a refurbishment, which saw the facility transformed into a start-of-the-art centre after 18 months of work.
Nicki Barrow, centre manager, said: “It has been a cracking year for us and our rehoming success was helped by all the hard work and dedication of our staff and volunteers and their passion to find loving homes for the dogs in our care.
"Despite a fantastic year, the team at Dogs Trust Newbury are keen to remind people that there are still lots of dogs patiently waiting for their special someone."
