CHRISTMAS-crazy crowds headed down to Woodley for the annual extravaganza in the town centre.

Guests were treated to a range of spectacular performances from the likes of Bulmershe School and Waingels College.

As well as tasty treats, younger visitors had the chance to take a trip to Santa's Grotto and a ride in his sleigh.

The Woodley and Earley Lions Club welcomed children to the sleigh to raise money and a number of other charities and community groups were also in attendance.

Now in its 22nd year, The Woodley Christmas Extravaganza brings the community together for festive cheer.

It follows the switching on of the town's Christmas lights and thousands of posters, decorated with the artwork of schoolchildren, were used to publicise the event.
