A DRUG dealer who was caught with a stash of drugs and more than £1,200 in cash has been sentenced to three years in prison.

Roheel Afzal, of Brocksett Close, Reading, admitted to possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis at Reading Crown Court on November 21.

A drugs warrant was executed at his home in August and he was arrested and charged after officers found cash and drugs at the property.

Police also found a mobile phone during the visit and the seized item was found to contain messages relating to drug dealing.

Case investigator Leigh-Ann Gilson of the investigation hub, based at Reading police station, said: “Drug dealers take advantage of vulnerable individuals and such behaviour will not be tolerated.

“Thames Valley Police and the Crown Prosecution Service will work closely together to bring them to justice and ensure they face the full consequences for their actions.”
