FOUR men have been jailed for more than 35 years for their role in a large scale drugs network worth £1m.

Destan and Edison Cemenja, both from Reading, were sentenced after they conspired to supply cocaine.

The four men were arrested on Brownlow Road in June 2018 and they were found with 10kg of the Class A drug.

Gentian Koltraka, from Carstairs Road, London and Kurtish Cibaku, from London Road, Southampton, were also involved in the operation in Reading and Oxfordshire.

They were sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Tuesday, November 27.

Detective inspector Rachel Wheatman said: “This investigation by Thames Valley Police’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit, identified the group who were importing and supplying large amounts of Class A drugs.

“During the investigation, officers worked tirelessly to gather evidence against the 4 defendants and also seized cocaine with a street value of £1m.

“We will continue to work to disrupt and dismantle groups who see fit to profit from selling Class A drugs which have a hugely detrimental impact on our communities.

“This operation is part of our Stronghold campaign which works in partnership to tackle serious and organised crime.

“We still need the community to act as our eyes and ears and keep reporting those who deal drugs as well as looking out for signs of those who maybe being exploited by drug dealers.”

If you have information about drug dealing or those being exploited by drugs dealers please call 101 or you can report online via our website.”
