COMMUTERS are facing delays in excess of an hour after a lorry broke down on the M4 earlier today.
There are severe delays on the eastbound stretch between J10 (Wokingham/Bracknell) and J8 (Maidenhead), with congestion all the way back to Theale.
One lane is currently closed and it is believed that the traffic was caused by a lorry carrying an abnormal load, which broke down after losing a tyre shortly before 6am.
Recovery teams were called out soon after, but motorists are now sat in gridlock traffic.
We will bring you more as we get it.
