A PERSON died after being hit by a train at Earley train station.
The incident led to all train lines being halted between Reading and Ascot.
Emergency services were called at around 5pm on Thursday, November 1.
British Transport Police (BTP) officers attended with South Central Ambulance Service crews, but the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
They are not treating the death as suspicious.
A BTP spokesman said: “Officers are working to identify the person and inform their family.
“This incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
The line reopened at around 7.45pm the same evening.
