Reading Blue Coat School in Sonning will play host to an incredible pyromusical display by the pyrotechnics experts at Sonning Fireworks Ltd. Starting at 7.30pm, the audience will be treated to a mesmerising performance with

firework displays timed to classical music scores.

November 2:

BURNHAM:

Firework display in the stadium at Burnham Football Club, Wymers Wood Road, Burnham. Doors open at 5.30pm for funfair, live laser show to follow. The display is at 7.30pm. Tickets available at varied village shops.

WINDSOR:

Due to popular demand Legoland in Windsor has added an extra date to its week of Firework Spectaculars. After a day at the theme park during Brick or Treat week there will be one final chance to experience the fireworks. The famous show is known for having some of the best fireworks in the south with an added special twist - as fireworks turn into exploding LEGO bricks helped by special 3-D glasses. EARLEY:

Fun for all the family, at this firework display on Sol Joel Park in Church Road. This event offers beer, sweets, toys and of course, a fantastic firework display. The evening will start from 6.00pm, where tickets will cost £7 for adults and £4 for children. Alternatively, you can get a discount on these prices by booking tickets before the event at the Earley St. Peter’s School office.

November 3:

READING:

Reading Abbey RFC are having a bonfire and barbecue bash on Saturday night. As well as a huge bonfire, barbecue and music, there will be a special fireworks display from award-winning Sonning Fireworks Ltd. The club can be found in Rose Hill, Emmer Green. Doors will be opening at 6.00pm, with the bonfire set to be lit at 7.15pm and fireworks starting at 8.00pm. Be careful not to miss out though, as the doors will be closed at 7.30pm ahead of the fireworks display. Tickets cost £10 on the night or £8 if you book in advance, which you can do at the clubhouse on Saturdays from 2pm to 4pm and Sundays 10am to 1pm. For any enquires you can call 07760198555.

At the home of Reading City FC, a terrific fun-filled evening of fireworks, food and fun fair rides is being held at the weekend. As well as the fireworks, other attractions will include delicious food stalls, drinks for the grown-ups, face painting and rides so there will be plenty to enjoy for the whole family to celebrate this historic event. The gates will open at 5.00pm and guests can have two hours to enjoy the other attractions before the fireworks start at 7.00pm. You can buy tickets at £7 per adult, £4 per child or a family ticket for £15. These prices are available via pre order online at the Reading Lions Club website, though tickets can still be bought on the door for a slightly higher rate.

MORTIMER:

Behind the Horse and Groom in Mortimer there will be a great array of treats for bonfire night. There will be a beer tent, hog roast and barbecue, as well as entertainment courtesy of a performance from the school choir and of course, a fireworks display. Tickets are on sale at Budgens, McColls, The Baobab, Dads Shop, Parkers, Wellers and NIsa. By booking in advance you can buy tickets for £5 per adult and £3 per child with all proceeds going to Mortimer St John’s Infant school. The doors for this fireworks event will open at 5.00pm.

PANGBOURNE:

FOPPS Firework Fiesta in Pangbourne will take place this year at Pangbourne Primary School, which is located on Kennedy Drive. As always, there will be an enormous bonfire, along with a dazzling 20 minute fireworks display. Elsewhere, there will be a fully licensed bar, hot food stands and music from Pangbourne Silver Band. It gets underway at 5.30pm and will run through to 8.30pm. SLOUGH:

WINDSOR:

The Royal Windsor Racecourse Fireworks spectacular returns for the 2018 Spookfest. Anybody who books a ticket or package by noon on the day will be sent an email telling you whether you have received a TRICK or a TREAT. Bring the email with you to redeem a surprise gift - four winners on the night could win £500. Enter the racecourse at your own risk for a ‘fangtastic’ firework display set to favourite spooky movies - including the Addams Family, Scooby Dooby Doo, Ghostbusters, Saw and Psycho. ASCOT:

Ascot Racecourse is kicking off jumps season in spectacular style, with a day of racing, followed by a big fireworks display. Throughout the day, fairground rides will be on offer, with all rides free of charge until 4.00pm and just £1 after that, with proceeds going to local charities. There are seven races scheduled, starting from 12.40pm, with the £100,000 Sodexo Gold Cup Chase over three miles being the feature race. After the final race, at 6pm will be the grand finale – a magnificent fireworks display. Other attractions include a screening of the widely popular film The Greatest Showman at the Ascot Pavilion, as well as plenty of lovely food and drink. Tickets vary for adults, ranging from £25-35, however under 18s can go for free, as long as they are accompanied by an adult. These can be purchased on the Ascot Racecourse website.

WOODLEY:

Laurel Park is the venue of a special night of fireworks and fun, which is being organised by Woodley and Earley Lions Club. The fundraising event opens from 6.00pm and will feature a stunning 20-minute piece with fireworks choreographed to popular music. Cost £8 for adults and £5 for under 14s. WOKINGHAM:

Wokingham celebrates bonfire night with a torchlight procession from the town centre to Cantley Field Park on Saturday. The march will be led by St Sebastian’s band and will lead to the venue of the bonfire, where all the real fun will start. There will be food, fun and fireworks at 7.30pm, though the gates open at 6.00pm, with tickets on the door for £7.50. Kids get in for free however, and you can get adult tickets online at the Wokingham Fireworks website for just £5.

SILCHESTER:

An evening of barbecue, hog roast, drinks and, of course, a bonfire will be held at the lovely Silchester House. Doors will be open from 6.00pm, with a pumpkin competition being held at 6.30pm. Guests have been asked not to bring sparklers, though there will be plenty of fun to be had elsewhere at the bonfire evening. You can buy your tickets from The Calleva Arms in Little London

Road and the Pamber Heath Stores in Silchester Road for a discounted price of £7 for adults, £3.50 for children and £18 for a family ticket. On the door tickets will be slightly dearer, at £8 per adult, £4 per child and £20 for a family ticket.

November 4:

PURLEY-ON-THAMES:

Alongside the gorgeous setting of Mapledurham Lock, a spectacular display will be put on at this year’s Thameside Fireworks Fiesta. Aside from the fireworks display, guests will have delicious food to get stuck into, as well as music and a bar. Tickets can be bought on the door or in advance at the Thameside Fireworks website. If you buy in advance you can take advantage of an excellent discount, with adult tickets costing £9 on the door, but just £6 online. Child tickets are £4 on the door and £2.50 online, while family tickets are cut from £25 on the door to just £15 when purchased on the website.
