HUNDREDS of job hunters were given the chance to impress potential employers at a jobs fair.
Held at The Hexagon and hosted by Reading UK, the event was the perfect opportunity for people to make a good impression with a range of businesses,
Matt Rodda, MP for Reading East, offered his support for the fair, which featured stalls from the NHS, IKEA and the emergency services.
Mr Rodda said: “There are some great opportunities in the Reading area and I want more local people to be able to get into work and develop their careers.”
“Sadly, not all vacancies are well known and I think it is important that people looking for work have as much information as possible about what jobs are available.
"I am grateful to Reading UK, Reading Jobcentre Plus, local employers and charities for all their help to make the fair such a success.”
