A VAN driver hurled abuse at a female driver and her child before the passenger squirted liquid into her face.
The victim was sat at the Hollow Lane junction of the Black Boy roundabout with her 13-year-old son, at around 3.10pm on October 9.
Her child was calling out of the window to a friend and - when a van pulled next to the vehicle - the driver started shouting at her son.
When the mother shouted back at him, a passenger in the van took a bottle from the driver and squirted the contents into her face, causing her to swerve into the van.
The van driver is described as a white man, between 25 and 30 years of age, of large build, ginger hair and freckles.
The passenger of the van is described as a white man, also between 25 and 30, with a slim build.
Police constable Philip Davies, based at Loddon Valley police station, said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.
“I would also urge anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the area to get in touch as it may provide vital information.”
