CROWDS gathered in Forbury Gardens on Saturday to break bread with on another.
The annual Reading Town Meal proved as popular as ever, bringing together a range of community groups.
First launched in 2011, guests are encouraged to donate food and dine in the iconic gardens.
All of the food is donated by the talented gardeners and allotment holders around the town and cooked by Reading College students.
The free meal was complimented by live performances and entertainment for all ages.
Local traders, including Linda Carter Jams, The Grumpy Goat and True Food Cooperative, also attended the event.
