A High Wycombe man who exposed himself in front of members of the public at a popular park has been given a suspended sentence.

Daniel Paul Rouse, of Cromwell Road, exposed his genitals to passers-by at The Rye in High Wycombe, on August 30.

He was charged with outraging public decency and appeared at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on September 3, where he indicated a guilty plea.

The 63-year-old was given a six-month prison sentence, suspended for 24 months. He was also ordered to pay a victim services surcharge of £115 and costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85.

He must register with Thames Valley Police in accordance with the Sexual Offences Act 2003 for seven years.
