THE much-loved Wokingham Arts Trail returns to the town for its eight year this weekend.
Eleven venues dotted around the town will showcase the works of 30 artists, including painting, original handmade prints, ceramics, glass, handmade books, jewellery and textiles.
For the first time, mosaic artist Karen Wones will be opening up her studio in Winnersh for the trail, while other venues including Gorse Ride Infant School, Wokingham Methodist Church and WADE Day Centre will be welcoming visitors throughout the weekend.
Machi de Waard, a spokesman for the trail, said: "The quality of work, most of which will be for sale, is outstanding and this is a wonderful opportunity for the community to meet their local artists who will be present to talk about their work. Some venues will be offering refreshments or giving demonstrations too."
Entry to all venues is free. The venues open from 10.30am to 5.30pm on Saturday and Sunday. For more details and to download a trail map, visit www.wokinghamartstrail.co.uk
