A NEW fleet of buses will be rolled out in north Reading with a fresh colour scheme, despite routes being axed due to budget pressures.
The 23 and 24 routes in Caversham and Emmer Green will feature a slightly more purple tinge when the new Berry Routes launch in October.
Buses will have new interiors and seats, USB charging and free wi-fi to help commuters make more of their journey time.
There will also be more space for passengers with buggies and wheelchairs.
As part of the rebrand, there will be several route changes in Caversham as of September 3.
Red 22 will split in the town centre with the Caversgam side reverting to Pink 22.
Pink 25 will see a revised timetable, with the Lower Caversham shuttle remaining unchanged.
