FANCY dress and ferret racing were the order of the day in Bucklebury on Saturday for the annual Chapel Row Fayre.

Hundreds of people gathered on Chapel Row green, opposite The Bladebone pub, to help raise money for a number of good causes.

This year's fundraiser helped Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice, West Berkshire Mencap, Newbury Macmillan Cancer Support and several other charities.

Guests were invited to take part in a jam-packed schedule of sheep and ferret racing, with a dog show, vintage car display and local stalls to keep the crowds entertained.
