Prospect Park in Tilehurst
AN illegal encampment has been set up in Prospect Park.
Reading Borough Council confirmed that a chain on a gate at the park had been damaged on Thursday (23) evening, which allowed 17 caravans and vehicles onto the site to set up an illegal encampment.
A spokesman for the council said: "Council officers have attended the site today (Friday) and are liaising with police.
