AN ELDERLY man is believed to have been rushed to hospital following a collision with a bus.
The incident took place at around 4pm on Monday at the junction of School Road and Corwen Road, Tilehurst.
An 81-year-old man, believed to have been riding the bike, was taken to the major trauma unit at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.

A spokesman for South Central Ambulance Service said: "We received multiple calls around 15.50 reporting a collision either between a bus and a motorcyclist at the above location.
"We sent an ambulance, a paramedic team leader in a rapid response vehicle and the Thames Valley Air Ambulance emergency response car to the scene.
"The rider was an 81-year-old male who had sustained lower leg injury and after treatment at the scene, he has been taken to the major trauma centre at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, with the TVAA team travelling with the patient in the ambulance."
Reading Buses and Thames Valley Police were approached for further comment.
