SHOPPERS became stuck in the notorious car park at Reading's IKEA store once again this afternoon.
One customer claimed they had been trapped for 'ages' following a build-up of traffic around the Calcot store.
@IKEAUK your #IKEAReading parking is an absolute joke, stuck for ages trying to get out, again! Is anyone actually trying to resolve the ongoing issues? @WestBerkshire & @ReadingCouncil shld be reviewing their trading license if they’re unable to provide adequate parking solution

Meanwhile, another customer reported they had been stuck in a parking space for 15 minutes due to the amount of cars trying to get out of the car park.
The car park has been the scene of several jams since it first threw open its doors in 2016.
@ikeareading still desperately tying to get out of your car park nearly an hour now stuck on the top level !! What a shambles !! No one about and no one moving

Kim Chin-Sung, IKEA Reading Store Manager said: “We are aware that there was traffic congestions on the roads close to IKEA Reading yesterday, Sunday July 29, during peak hours and that this may have impacted some of our customers journey to and from the store.
"IKEA Reading welcomes customers until 9pm on weekdays and Saturdays. We invite customers who wish to avoid peak times and enjoy a quieter shopping experience to visit us during off-peak hours."
